6 Months Old Already?!
Hello!
It’s hard to believe that our little peanut was born 6 months ago!! He weighed in at 12 pounds at his 6-month check-up and grew over 1 1/2 inches! He’s now feasting on veggies AND fruits along with the rice cereal. He’s loving all the new foods, especially the sweet potatoes and bananas. He tends to talk…babble.. with his mouth full. We’re not quite sure what he’s saying, but we’re sure it’s important. He loves to smile at anyone who will look at him. We’re stopped often in stores to do some smilin’ to strangers. When people see him they ask if he’s anywhere from 6 weeks to 2 months old and when we tell them that he’s over 6 months old, of course they’re baffled. So we have to follow that up with telling them that he was born 3 months prematurely. It’s a conversation that we’ve come used to having.
It’s so nice to have such a happy, predictable baby. He’s starting to play with and grab at toys which is fun to watch. Dad has been working on getting him to do the “Pinke Wave”. He actually is starting to mimic us and we laugh!
We’re up in the mountains this weekend and the weather couldn’t be more perfect. It’s 60 and sunny! We hope you’re having a sunny day yourself!
