Every summer Jolie and I make a 12 hour drive from Denver
to the north east corner of South Dakota to enjoy time with family at the lake
cabin on Buffalo Lake. Why don’t we take the 1 1/2 hour flight? Well we have a
pooch that has just too much fun at Buffalo Lake. Yes we sacrifice 2 days for
driving, but seeing our boy have fun at the lake is worth it.

Every month of Jolie’s pregnancy my mother has been
sending a book for her future grand child. What else could you expect from a
reading recovery teacher? This September she surprised Jolie and I with a
book she personally wrote for our up-coming child about Dakota. Jolie and I
can’t express enough how much we love the book! Below is a link to a PDF

Hello Everyone!

Jolie and I learned this past month we will be blessed with a baby boy around Christmas time. We are both very excited. According to the ultra-sound he is quite the busy body just like his parents. Jolie is doing wonderful with the pregnancy and no complications so far! Well there is one thing…we have to stop for cake and ice cream a lot more on our journey.

We have been very busy using our new condo in the mountains. Weekends consist of long walks around lake Dillon and boating. We have had many wonderful guests come stay with us already.

In the middle of September I am taking off for Brazil to go on a Kiteboarding adventure. I will be gone for a full week exploring the North East Coast of Brazil by Forteleza.

Dakota is doing great as well. His calcium is back to normal and we have our SPAZZY pooch back.
