July was a Busy Month….
Jolie and I had a busy month this past July.
In the beginning of July we went to the cabin in South Dakota at Buffalo lake for the Big Ball reunion. We spent time with my aunts and uncles and cousins for the weekend. The weather was nice and everyone had fun.
On July 14th Jolie and I met my parents in the Outerbanks of North Carolina for a week. Our friend Tia also joined us for the week as well. We stayed at a house on the beach. The girls were busy relaxing on the beach while I was out kiteboarding in front of them. We had a good time but were ready to come back to Colorado for some less humidity.
Jolie and I decided we did not have enough going on in July so we purchased a condo in Dillon, Colorado. We are 2 miles from Keystone. It is a nice little two bedroom, 2 bath condo in Summit Cove just outside of Dillon. Last weekend we moved in with the help of my buddies Mike & Wade. Wade stayed up to help us paint the bedrooms since the previous owners though it would be nice to have purple and green colored bedrooms.
Now on to Dakota. We thought he was out of the woods with his high calcium. On July 31st he had surgery to remove an enlarged parathryoid in his neck. Yesterday he made it through surgery with flying colors. Today he is doing much better, there is a chance we could be picking him up today when they thought he would be there until Friday (Today is Wednesday).
