Dakota’s Day at the Vet
This morning I took Dakota into the vet. They finally found a enlarged thyroid in his neck. Normal golden retriever thyroids are approximately 1mm in size, his was 5mm’s. Once they found the enlarged thyroid they inject it with alcohol. He says this will bring it back to normal size.
The vet called and said Dakota was doing well, he woke up from the anesthesia shortly after the procedure. They will check his calcium levels later today and tonight. He will be able to come home tomorrow.
Jolie and I are trying to figure out what we should do tonight without him home for the evening with us.
