IP Enabled Toilet with Web Cam!!!

Happy Saturday!

Well, today is weekend #3 of the bathroom project.
I’ve been impressed with Tyler and Ryan’s work ethic!  They’re busy little
bees and the bathroom is really starting to come together wonderfully!
Today, Tyler’s going to start working on the shower tile.  There was a
little mix-up with the ordering of our fun granite accent tile and so we can’t
do any grouting until we get it in a couple of weeks (cross your fingers).
The IP enabled toilet with webcam has been installed already though (hehe).
I have no idea what that means, but Ryan said to tell you all!  The only
things left to decide on still are the mirrors/lights and paint color.
I’ve put up a few samples, but am not in love with any of the colors yet.

Still no news on Dakota’s condition.  We’re still
waiting for his blood results from Michigan.  The waiting has been the
hardest part.  The weather this weekend is supposed to be in the high 70’s
today and mid 80’s tomorrow - it’s a rough life in Colorado!!!

Take care,

jolie

The Bathroom Project Continues….

Last Sunday Tyler laid the floor tile while I ran up and
down the stairs making cuts for him. He put the finishing touches on the floor
last night. Today we are working on the show drain I broke while taking the tub
out.

Jolie is out walking Dakota today which is a good thing.
This past Monday he was limping terribly bad on his right front leg. We took in
him on Wednesday. They looked at his leg and couldn’t find anything wrong.
Although they were really concerned about his calcium levels in his blood work.
They did more blood tests and we found out the results on Thursday that his
calcium levels were still too high. He spent Friday at the vet getting more
tests done to him. He had an ultrasound, chest x-rays and thyroid tests. They
are concerned about high calcium because it is an indicator or cancer or
something else such as pancreantitis. So far the tests have found nothing.
We are changing his food to see if it is current food giving him high calcium
levels.

Take care,

Ryan

Bathroom Project Day 2…

Yesterday was a successful demolition day. Our good friend

Tyler is leading the charge in this project. He has numerous projects like this

under his belt. The plan today is to lay the hardy backer board so we can tile

tomorrow.

Let the Bathroom Project Begin!

Jolie and I decided we needed to get the carpet out of the

bathroom. What started out as a simple carpet replacement is now turning into a

whole bathroom remodel. I thought I would post the pictures of the bathroom

before we get started tonight.

Here are some before pictures:
